The Legendary XXI Rally Clásico Isla de Mallorca 2025

Last weekend, from March 6 to 8, 2025, Mallorca resonated with the sound of classic engines during the XXI Rally Clásico Isla de Mallorca. This event, established as a must-attend for historic motorsport enthusiasts, brought together over a hundred iconic vehicles that traversed the island’s picturesque roads.

The competition kicked off from Puerto Portals, where, despite inclement weather, numerous fans gathered to admire these asphalt jewels and witness the departure of renowned drivers.

In the Speed category, Pre-81 group, the British team of Rhys Yates and Max Freeman claimed victory at the wheel of a 1974 Porsche 911 RS. Their performance over the three days was impeccable, especially notable after Austrian driver Kris Rosenberger, who had been leading in the initial stages, retired due to mechanical failure.

Second place in this category went to the British duo Yates/Lee, driving a 1977 Porsche 911 RS, while the German team Menden/Kevin secured third position with their 1977 Ford Escort RS.

The Rally Clásico de Mallorca is not just a competition but also a celebration of the passion for motorsport and automotive history. Each year, this event attracts participants and spectators from various nationalities, solidifying its status as a benchmark in the international classic rally calendar.
